Manoj Kumar, ACII, CPCU, ARe, ARM, FIII, MBA, brings over 40 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, and banking – spanning a number of international regions, including LATAM, the UK, the Middle East, India and Africa.

Manoj founded MNK International in 2009, as well as multiple MGAs, and he’s widely heralded for his innovative approach to risk management.

He holds a BA (Hons) and an MA in Geography from The University of Delhi, and an MBA from IGNOU. He also holds ACII, ARe, ARM and CPCU qualifications.

Amal Omari oversees the MNK Group’s daily business operations and administration, and provides management, leadership and vision to ensure that the Group meets its objectives.

Amal started her career with the Group at MNK Re in 2012 and has been involved with every aspect of the broking business. She has successfully placed several prestigious accounts into Lloyd’s on behalf of the MNK Group.

Amal holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Business Computing from University of Sunderland and an MBA in International Business from University of Wales Institute Cardiff. Amal holds a Certificate in Insurance from Chartered Insurance Institute, London.

Naman Kumar, CFA, supports the MNK Group’s growth strategy and works closely with senior management to define and execute organic and inorganic growth opportunities. 

Prior to joining the MNK Group, Naman was at Public Investment Fund (sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia) based in Riyadh, where he worked as part of the International Investments Division. Previously, he worked as an investment professional with a European hedge fund based in London. Naman started his career in the corporate private equity division of The Carlyle Group in its London office.

Naman holds a BSc in Mathematics & Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and an MSc in Finance from London Business School (LBS). Naman is a CFA Charterholder.

Simon Ashby is responsible for driving a variety of projects and revenue growth initiatives for the MNK Group as we expand our presence across the globe, particularly in North America.

He has nearly 40 years’ experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors, having held senior management roles in both broking and underwriting, including over a decade in Bermuda as Managing Director of Marsh FINPRO Bermuda.

In London, Simon was Managing Director and CUO of Gulf Insurance Company UK Ltd part of the Travelers Group and CEO of Willis Global Solutions International. In his most recent role he was co-founder and Active Underwriter of Verto Lloyds Syndicate 2689.

Chaitali Roy leads MNK Group’s global Risk & Regulation function, driving enterprise risk management, regulatory strategy, and governance across a complex international footprint spanning the UK, EU, Middle East, and Asia. Chaitali plays a pivotal role in embedding risk-aligned innovation and regulatory excellence to accelerate MNK’s sustainable growth and global market leadership.

With over 20 years of experience at the intersection of financial services and regulatory frameworks, Chaitali has a proven record of delivering transformational programs that align risk and compliance with commercial strategy. Her leadership has enabled successful multi-jurisdictional expansions, complex post-merger integrations, and industry-leading regulatory partnerships. Prior to MNK Group, she held senior roles as Partner at Ernst & Young and executive positions at KPMG, Liberty Specialty Markets, the Bank of England/Prudential Regulatory Authority.

Chaitali is a Chartered Public Finance Accountant and holds an MSc from the London School of Economics.

Adam is responsible for the production and placement of insurance and reinsurance contracts, with a particular focus on the Latin American region. Adam and his team access London and International markets in order to find the best solutions for their clients. Adam is a member of MNK International’s Executive Committee.

With over 30 years’ experience in the London market, prior to MNK International Adam has held senior positions across several London market brokers, including most recently Lockton and then Gallagher, where he headed up the Latam Fac Property team.

Adam holds a BA (Hons) in Spanish, French, Russian and Linguistics from University of Essex.

Lorenzo is responsible for business development in European Markets with focus on Italy, Greece, Spain and France.

He has over 30 years of industry experience, both as an Agent in the Italian Market where his experience started in the Motor Business with the FIAT Group (AUGUSTA) to then moving to London in 1997 as a Broker for Heath Lambert and becoming Head of the Italian operations working with Lloyds Syndicates, Berkshire Hathaway and other Company markets.

Lorenzo holds a BSc degree in Business Administration and Economics from University of Florence, Italy.

Khosro is responsible for MNK International’s business development, focused on guarantee and surety bonds

Khosro has been in the insurance and reinsurance industry for the past 35 years, mostly within the Energy and Aviation sector in Eastern Europe, Africa and Middle East. He has previously set up insurance companies and reinsurance brokers in Eastern Europe. Prior to MNK International, Khosro has held senior positions across several London market brokers, including Besso, NMB and Ed Broking.

Khosro holds an MSc in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from The University of London.

Simon’s specialist areas include difficult and unusual placements involving Pharma Liability and MedMal, Products Recall/Guarantee, Pollution/EIL and Terrorism & Sabotage. Simon is a member of MNK International’s Executive Committee.

During nearly seven years at the company, he has helped develop all lines of the Facultative Non-Marine account into Lloyd’s and International markets whilst being responsible for the Casualty account. Simon established himself at PWS during the 80’s, before moving to Minet’s in Australia for two years. He also had overseas assignments in USA and, prior to joining MNK International, he was one of the founding members of the London office of Integro.

Mark is responsible for the production and placement of energy related business, including upstream, midstream & downstream energy, and power generation, including renewable energy and mining. He also assists the property team with the development and placing of accounts.

With over 30 years’ experience in the insurance and reinsurance market, working on state and privately owned accounts, Mark has worked with clients throughout the world, bringing a global knowledge of markets, business procedures and cultures to MNK International.

Giles is responsible for facilitating coverage for difficult and hard-to-place risks worldwide, expanding MNK International’s global presence in the surety sector.

He is a surety broker with over 30 years of experience in the market and brings a proven track record of providing bond solutions for companies, either directly or through a sub-broker. Giles has worked on a number of major civil infrastructure projects, including the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, and the Ted Williams Tunnel in Boston, Massachusetts.

As a well-known practitioner in the international market, having worked with brokers across the world, he uses his experience and contacts to build MNK International’s client base. This includes overseas clients looking to access specialist London capacity.

Akeem is responsible for the placement of business into Lloyd’s and the international market.

Akeem has been in the insurance industry in Nigeria for more than 18 years with deep experience in Direct and Reinsurance Broking, Underwriting, Claims and Risk Management. Prior to MNK International, he worked with Romero Insurance Broker, an Independent Broker based in Stockton.

Akeem holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Agriculture Abeokuta and a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Lagos. He is also an Associate member of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. He holds the IBC Academy certificate, UK certificate in Fundamentals of Offshore Field Development.

Ekaansh Verma, DipCII, is a member of the Financial Lines and Cyber broking team at MNK International and is accountable for placing business into the London and International market for Financial and Commercial institutions.

Prior to MNK International, Ekaansh worked in the Reinsurance department of one of the top 3 insurance companies based in Dubai establishing strong relationships in the MENA region.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Programme and Project Management from University of Warwick and is also a DipCII.

George is a member of MNK International’s International Facultative Property team and assists with the account management and placement of new and renewal business into the London and International markets on behalf of a variety of Property clients around the world.

Prior to joining MNK International, George was employed at Lockton Companies and previously had part–time roles/work experience with Dual Ibérica, Dual Corporate Risks, Beazley, and Hiscox.

George holds a BA (Hons) in Spanish and Portuguese from Cardiff University. As part of his studies, he spent 6 months each studying at Universitat de València and Universidade de Lisboa.

Tolulope is responsible for handling all Compliance and Legal matters.

Prior to MNK International, Tolulope worked in Nigeria in the Legal, Compliance and Company Secretarial department at Continental Reinsurance Plc, one of the leading premier Pan-African Reinsurers, with offices located in different parts of Africa.

Tolulope holds an LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Nottingham and an MA in International Relations from the University of Sussex. She is a Chartered Company Secretary at the Associate Level, with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN). She is also a qualified Lawyer having passed the Nigerian bar 13 years ago and specialised in Litigation and Corporate law for a few years before joining the insurance and reinsurance sector.

Tibu manages the IBA Accounts and Xchanging for Lloyd’s market processing.

Prior to joining MNK International, Tibu worked in the capacity of a Research Associate at Antal International and had roles with Dixons Carphone.

Tibu holds an MBA in Project Management from Dublin Business School and B. Tech in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation from MG University.

Rev. Paul D. Ray, FIISA; Dip. Th. and Min, is a member of MNK International’s South African office responsible for business development in the Eastern & Southern African Region. His focus is on the development of both treaty and facultative solutions to clients in the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) region working through both the South African and Kenyan offices, concentrating on all classes of business focusing on bringing parametric and special lines products to these markets.

Paul began his career in insurance in 1974 with the then Mercantile and General followed by various roles with other major reinsurers and was later appointed the first Managing Director of African Reinsurance Corporation, South Africa in 2004 before joining MNK International in 2020.

Paul achieved his Fellowship with both the Chartered Insurance Institute London and the Insurance Institute of South Africa. He also holds a Diploma in Theology and Ministry.

Mario is the Chairman of the Board for MNK International’s DIFC branch, and is responsible for oversight of the DIFC office. He is also responsible for growth and business development of MNK International in the MENA region.

Mario has over 42 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to MNK International, he has set-up and operated several broking firms in Cyprus and Lebanon. Mario started his career as a Junior Reinsurance Broker at Nasco Group and worked his way up to Facultative Director over his 20 years stint at the company.

Umair is the Senior Executive Officer and Director at MNK International’s DIFC operation, where he leads broking operations and focuses on expanding the company’s business across the GCC and globally.

With over 15 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors, Umair has held leadership roles at Lockton’s Pakistan JV, Jubilee Insurance, Heath Lambert, and Salaam Takaful, specialising in underwriting, claims, and strategic growth initiatives. He has worked extensively in Pakistan and Oman, with a focus on innovation, customer-centricity, and compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Academically, he holds a BBA (Hons) from SZABIST, Karachi, and is currently pursuing further qualifications with the Chartered Insurance Institute in London.

Sohad is responsible for the business development and placing of business into the international markets on behalf of clients from the GCC and MENA regions. Her main focus is to develop relationships with a wide base of companies and to expand the company’s portfolio in respect of the different LOBs mainly the Specie, PV and Aviation products.

Prior to joining MNK International, Sohad has been part of GMRB company as a regional reinsurance broker senior manager after a long spell in France between SCOR and NASCO as a placing facultative broker.

Sohad holds a bachelors degree double major in insurance and advertising from USJ Beirut and a Master’s Degree in Insurance and Reinsurance from ENASS Paris.

Agnieszka leads MNK International’s Polish operations. She is focused on expanding MNK International’s presence in Eastern Europe.

She has been working in the insurance market since 1994, first as a broker in Gras Savoye and then in Sedgwick Polska, where, apart from her brokerage activity, she was responsible for development and implementation of the quality management system compliant with ISO 9000 standards. From 1999 to 2004 she worked in Allianz Polska, where she successively held the positions of Manager for Cooperation with Institutional Clients and Brokers and Manager for Bancassurance. In 2004, she was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the Polish branch of AIG Europe. From 2016 to 2021, she served as vice chairman of the AXA Board of Directors and President of AXA Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne Supervisory Board.

She is a graduate of the Faculty of Biology at the University of Warsaw and a post-graduate doctoral program at the University of Ottawa in Canada

Agnieszka is responsible for business development and cooperation with insurance companies as well as local and international intermediaries – agents, brokers and multiagents.

Agnieszka has been working in the insurance industry since 1998, starting in Gerling Polska, then for 16 years in Allianz Polska, where she held the position, among others, of Head of Broker Channel, and then for 4 years in AXA Polska, where she was responsible for business development and relations with brokers, simultaneously supervising the network of Business Development Managers.

Agnieszka holds an MD in Slavic Philology from the University of Silesia and a postgraduate LD in Insurance from the Warsaw School of Economics. She has several certificates including the Prince 2 Methodology. Involved in numerous training projects popularizing insurance knowledge and undertaking educational activities for the benefit of the environment, in 2020 she was awarded by the Polish Insurance Association.

Steven Oluoch, ACII, leads MNK International’s Kenyan operations, based in Nairobi. His focus is on expanding MNK International’s presence in Kenya and by extension, the wider COMESA region, while developing relationships with underwriters and reinsurers in those markets.

Prior to MNK International, Steven worked for 12 years as Chief Executive for a prominent East African insurer, ICEA LION General. Before that, he also served as Chief Executive of Tanzania National Reinsurance Corporation Ltd (TAN-RE) and earlier in senior executive roles at ZEP-RE and Kenya Reinsurance Corporation.

Steven holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Nairobi and an MBA from United States International University (USIU) in Nairobi in conjunction with Columbia Business School, New York. Steven is a qualified ACII and a Chartered Insurer.

Andrea manages strategic corporate relationships across Latin America, ensuring seamless operations and effective risk management for our clients. With a solid background in the insurance industry, she previously worked in Venezuela, where she managed relationships with international reinsurance brokers.

Andrea holds a diploma in insurance and reinsurance from the National Insurance College of Venezuela and a General License Certificate in Florida.
